Thanks to everyone who read and commented on my original post – and thanks even if you read the post, but didn’t comment.
I should have explained in the original post that the photo isn’t Vintage Girl. I’ve always been reluctant to post photos of her online, though I’m not sure why.
But because the real Vintage Girl is so darned cute, here you are:
I couldn’t find one of her with her cranky morning face, so these sweet pics will have to do.
And in the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit that mornings are getting easier. We seem to have fewer meltdowns these days, but the dilly-dallying . . . oh my Lord, the dilly-dallying!

I put my vote 100% on The Real Girl. What a cutie. She totally looks like a member of Josie and the Pussycats from cartoons with her cool cat ears and singing. And you? You must be someone’s mom because you said the phrase “dilly-dallying”.

LOL about the mixup! Too funny. Of course, she is gorgeous, and I understand your hesistation about putting pics of her online. (not sure what happened with the email–did I write it the same both times?)

Hey – I’m paranoid like that too – you won’t find a pic of any of my kids on my blog unless they’re a long way away, completely costumed-up or facing the other way. Your VG is totally gorgeous, I agree with a PP she does look like one of the Pussycats
The dilly-dallying drives me bananas also!
